The hive made it through the winter with about 40 lbs of honey to spare. Looks like lots of new brood in the upper two hive bodies, the bottom one is more or less empty. I looked through the entire hive. The bottom had a half inch of dead bees that I sweep out, winter kill. They are using the upper back entrance mostly, today there was a few hundred clustered round the back entrance, coming and going. I put a cut comb supper on just above the queen excluder. Going to check it next week.
